Born from a Crisis,

Soil & Soul was founded in response to Southern California’s devastating palm weevil crisis. Since 2011, over 20,000 Canary Island Date Palms have been lost in San Diego County alone.
The tragedy? Most of these palms didn’t have to die.
Traditional pest control companies kept using the same failing approach: quarterly surface sprays that can’t reach weevil larvae inside the trunk. Property owners spent thousands on treatments that didn’t work, watching their palms die anyway.
